Lou McLeod is based in Alto, New Mexico, where her floral designs and event planning specialize in unique, one-of-a-kind inspirations of art. With a BFA in painting form the Maryland Institute, College of Art (MICA), Lou has always loved color, dimension and, as she is often quoted as saying, “the architecture of flowers and table designs. “

For twenty years, Lou co-owned and managed Julian’s Restaurant, first in Telluride, Colorado, and then in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In Santa Fe, she transformed the dining spaces into what became year after year the “most romantic restaurant in Santa Fe.”

As flowers were an integral part of the restaurant design, Lou, already an acclaimed restaurateur, was also noted for the beautiful arrangements. Combining her business acumen with her artistic design is what has led her to this successful extension of “Lou McLeod” for the past five years.
